ABOUT

LEAN ELICE

When I was young, I wanted to be a doctor. I pursued that goal through my first couple of years in college. But then, school and life took me in a different direction, and I found myself out in the world working in corporate sales. In retrospect, the part of being a doctor that appealed to me most was connecting with people and helping bring peace, reassurance, and a kind hand as they navigated a personal challenge.

We are rarely presented with linear paths, and after a 35-year career as a business executive, entrepreneur, and public policy advocate, I followed my heart and my love to Northwest Iowa.

IT WAS THERE THAT AN EQUALLY PROFOUND MISSION WAS AT HAND: TO CHAMPION AN AWAKENING OF PROGRESSIVE SOULS AND A MOVEMENT OF CREATIVITY, VITALITY, AND REFORM.

During my time in Spencer, a Northwest Iowa community, I ran a city council campaign and won, making me the first woman elected to the city council in over 25 years. This led to other political ventures, including a 2017 campaign in the Democratic primaries as a challenger to Representative Steve King in Iowa’s Fourth Congressional District. And while I lost the primary, the experience illuminated the lasting impact of grassroots efforts and their power to uplift.

That would have made a fitting point to wrap things up. I could have easily sailed into the sunset or relaxed into retirement. But instead, I used the pandemic as an opportunity to systematically reorganize, refocus, and then return to service. Ready for more and with something big yet to do–and on the grandest scale so far–to bring more consciousness into the world and uplift humanity in the process.

It’s that connection to others that draws me to teach my channel-writing practice now.

So at 59 years old, in my second Saturn return, I began a next chapter aligned with the light, in higher consciousness, and focused on helping others do the same. My intent on empowering awakened souls to find their truth, clarity, and joy, and flow more love into the world.

We all have our own paths to fulfill.

We all have our own paths to fulfill.

No two are ever the same. Rarely are they linear, though they invariably take us to where we need to be. Life delivers the experience to make sure of that.
